Shelf Life and Storage Questions

When unopened and stored properly in a cool, dark, and dry place, the supplement powders can last up to one year. Once opened, if stored properly, they are at their freshest for up to six months and fine to feed for up to one year.

You can keep them in the jar they came in or transfer them to another air-tight container. Store in a cool, dark, and dry place such as a pantry shelf or inside a cabinet away from your cooking area.

Not all tinctures have an expiration date depending on what they are. Each tincture has a lot # and if there is an expiration date, that date is listed with the lot #.

The liquid tinctures should be stored at room temperature away from heat.

How to Use Questions

Begin with 1/4 to 1/2 the suggested serving for your size dog and work towards the full suggested serving over a couple to few days. Loose stools is a common indication that you may have introduced the supplement too quickly. Simply start over with 1/4-1/2 of the full suggested serving size and move towards the full serving slower.

Each supplement has its own directions so you want to take note of what those directions are pertaining to the supplement you are using.

Many of the powdered supplements smell and taste great according to most dogs but there are a couple of them that can smell and taste a bit off-putting, such as the Internal Flea Powder and the Extracted Mushroom Powder. Both of these should be mixed with a carrier anyway so if offering them to your dog dry is making them turn their nose up, mix the powder with water, goat milk, or a dab of bone broth gel to increase palatability.
